I honestly like SSR for some applications. Loading a big ass table server is a good example TBH

I think there can certainly be cases where it’s helpful. I’m mostly turning against the model that everything needs to be SSR. It’s what companies like Vercel push because it means more revenue. If you use a jamstack (JavaScript APIs and Markdown) then it’s not only more cost effective but also will prevent vendor lock-in

Wait, are you telling it's trade offs all the way down and that the context in which a thing exists affects the technical choices you make to accommodate your use case and requirements?!?!?!
