On a trip I took, I made two truly good friends.
I promised that whenever I go back there, Iāll visit them. I donāt know what exactly God has placed in these animals that makes them so lovable.
Itās as if God has placed kindness and warmth in them- completely selflessly. Just one look, a little wag of their tail, or even their quiet presence beside you. Brings a peace that canāt be compared to anything else.
Sometimes I feel like they understand the meaning of unconditional love. Better than many of us do.
They donāt expect anything, they donāt judge. They simply exist, simply love, simply stay with youā¦
I donāt currently have the connections to keep a dog, but Iām sure that if one day I can, I wonāt just have a pet- Iāll have a true friend. A friend who, with just one look, takes the tiredness of the day away. And whose presence makes your world more peaceful and kindā¦
