GMatcha! 🍵 This is my absolute favorite matcha cafe :) The matcha langue de chat cookies arrived completely crumbled—as expected 🤣 but they were seriously so delicious! 😋

Lately, since I’m on medication for an autoimmune disease, I can only have a little bit of milk. So I’m having all the milk I can each day together with matcha 😍

I am really sorry and sad about this. Can I ask what the name of the disease that is bothering you is. Maybe I can find a good doctor in my country for this.

An “autoimmune disease” occurs when the immune system malfunctions and immune cells that are supposed to protect the body mistakenly attack its own healthy tissues or organs. In simple terms, the immune system ‘confuses the body for a foreign invader’ and attacks itself. Examples of autoimmune diseases include ‘rheumatoid arthritis,’ ‘lupus,’ and ‘multiple sclerosis.’ Symptoms and treatments vary depending on the disease, but most are chronic and require ongoing management. There are many famous doctors in Korea, but unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease yet :(

I apologize if I've offended you by asking this question, but which of these three types of autoimmune disease are you suffering from? My mother knows some qualified doctors in Iceland. She talks to them. Maybe they can help you. I would like to do whatever I can to help you. Don't worry about the trip at all. My mother and I will take good care of you and your family whenever you travel to Iceland.🥰

I don’t actually have that disease. In my allergy test, three types of food allergies showed up, but in a more detailed test, my blood didn’t react to antibodies from those foods. That means my body isn’t truly allergic to the foods themselves; rather, my immune system is mistakenly identifying milk as a threat and attacking it. So the symptoms like dermatitis and skin heat are not caused by actual food allergies. They said there isn’t a precise medical diagnosis for this condition. I truly appreciate your kindness.

I'm glad to hear that you don't have a serious problem with your body. If it's just milk, in the worst case scenario, you'll end up cutting it out of your diet, but always take care of your health. If there is anything I can do to help you, I will do it. Please don't be shy about saying it and tell me. I will do it in the best way possible.🩷 I hope you are always healthy and happy with your family.😉
