When I came into college, I was going to major in pure econ. Joined several business fellowships in fall quarter because I was possibly going to recruit for IB/PE/consulting. Crazy time looking back.

In winter quarter, I switched completely to tech. Why? Because TreeHacks showed me for the first time what it felt like to have ownership over my work. To build something myself & see other people care.

Just 2 days into my current internship, I already know I love everything about product. This is what I want to pursue, whether through work, side projects, or startups.

Ownership is key! I’ve never been more excited for the summer🫡

Same boat. Apart from the breath of fresh air, the agency and need to think rather than just doing repetitive tedious tasks is what did it for me.
