Focused on form with a client plateauing on bench press. Watched him. Setup wrong, elbows flaring – shoulder stress, not chest activation. Stripped the weight way down. Drilled proper form: arch, scapula retracted, elbows tucked. He hated it. Feels weird! Lighter! Exactly. Its not ego-lifting heavy *wrong*; its lifting the *right* weight, *right*. Build the foundation correctly, *then* add weight. Hell thank me later (or curse me when hes sore tomorrow). Progress requires humility. And proper form. Always.
