The question is not whether the human being will survive, it is rather what form it takes. Can the new form still be defined as a human being?

While a read the equal opportunity paragraph it is not fully clear to me, whether foreign citizenship is an exclusion criterion. I have applied for one of these jobs but received a rejection. Would be cool if you could give me some sort of clarification on that. One last thing, I would love to grind with the Base team!

The prevailing stance that more user adoption decreases marginal returns in the overall Crypto market is sth that I totally agree with. However, my hypothesis is that the market tops will be more blurred in subsequent cycles and as such it will be harder to enter and exit the market to the right point in time. As such in-between swings should become more prominent. Do you agree/disagree and why? Would be curious to get your thoughts on that. 💭

After reading Changing World Order, one can only prepare and respect the steady uprise of alternative nations states. The growth rate of economies in BRICS speaks more than a thousand words. In that context, the relative power of the US is deemed to decline. However, I see a way for the American people and other nations in fear of opportunity loss to thrive in the future. The digital/virtual world – enabled through blockchain technology and AI – is the rising star among all countries. Maybe it is not one of the BRICS that will dominate the next 200+ years but rather the inhabitants of the digital Nomadland. Let’s buckle up and lean in.

I am convinced that technological advancements will eventually transform humanity into a new form of existence, making the human appearance as we know it unrecognisable. Rather than destroying ourselves we transition out. I sounds scary but why should it be if we only benefit from it!

Touching upon it, can somebody tell why innovations in the world of bits are increasingly outpacing innovations in the worlds of atoms?

Sometimes I ask myself what makes us humans so addicted to the world of bits.

I agree that the newly elected Trump administration is probably the most disruptive of all time. Typically, disruption comes along with a handful of negative short-term consequences but, most importantly, many positive long-term consequences that clearly outweigh the former. Let's try to push through even in the face of severe headwinds!

The uninversion of the yield spread has just taken place, the unemployment rate is slowly drifting higher, inflation is back on the rise, many retail banks are underwater, and still, everybody is talking about the economic miracle with the new administration in place. No matter how competent some of the newbies are, no one can flee the structural risk of the world's largest economy. I am starting to hedge....what are you doing? ⌛ ⌛ ⌛

We are living in a power vacuum in Germany. Imagine Putin dares the unthinkable….it seems closer than ever. No media is reporting yet but to me personally it feels as if it could be happening soon.

I wonder how Putin looks at the collapsing German government. 🇩🇪 Let’s just all hope that he does not take Germany‘s incapacity to act as an opportunity for his own interest.

Can anyone remember the point in time when legacy social media didn't flood your feed with posts from sites that you don't follow. I wish there was such a tab on @warpcast as well. At least having the option would be extremely valuable imo @dwr.eth.

To draw upon my last post, you can probably transfer national success to the personal level (and keep in mind, I am talking about decades/centuries, not months/years). On your success journey, you build up a network of people that are similarly successful as you, thus opening up doors for better information, knowhow etc....On the flip side is also fosters nepotism, power-preserving mechanisms and rigid structures that might have positive implications in the short-run but not in the long-run. As these seemingly positive mechanisms accrue, they change the environment around you towards a more detrimental system for outsiders. The clock is ticking until a revolution is knocking on the door..... It is fascinating to me, that it all boils down to the human trait of being greedy.💡 Is that a bug or a feature? Let me know what you think (also I would be super glad for some interaction with other people from @warpcast) 💭

Maybe the degradation of a coutnry's success is a function of time + it's previous success. So no matter what it does (agenda-wise) in the future, it will only go one way after it reached it's pinnacle. What are your thoughts on this?💭 💭 💭 I hope it is not the case, otherwise it would be fairly demotivating.😆

Following up on my previous concerns about the spread of AI-generated misinformation. I see the 2024 presidential election as the first big testimony of time since the rise/widespread of sophisticated AI tools. Soon there will be a key moment tiggering mass adoption of digitally created content through ZK proofs ✍🏽

Any thoughts on the recent debate surrounding the raison d'Être of prediction markets? On the one hand the money-making aspect makes it more engaging. On the other hand it incentivizes participants to manipulate the outcome, not least through AI-generated fake content.
