The situation is obviously still unfolding but the big question up in the air right now to me is whether Trump will choose to escalate further or if there is a window for de-escalation here like the Iranian response to the Soleimani assassination. They gave warnings, the bases were mostly evacuated. Could be. What do you think? For a US President who is rational and reasonable this would be an opportunity to seek peace, but instead we have Trump. Clearly the biggest danger here is Trump losing his mind in bloodthirsty macho bullshit. We need massive rallies for peace and de-escalation around the USA and the world today! Share ones you see in /solidarity.

nah it's mathematically chaotic. we don't know how this will turn out. I don't think its WW3 though like peeps here keep panicking about though. but yea we may feel it here in the US. not worried though

It's never World War III until it is. Just takes one of these sociopaths pushing a button. Even a low % chance is still very scary. I live in Washington State a couple hours from one of the largest stores of nuclear weapons in the world Bangor Trident submarine base. Not that it matters if we have nuclear winter. But until then we just keep living and hoping for the best 😂
