realizing moving between places from short term rental to short term rental is not the way - high cost for mid app - need to be somewhat furnished (bed/desk) - very few options

In some of my travels I would rent a short term rental for a couple weeks while looking for something more local and mid term. Sometimes the host was willing to negotiate a better deal off the books for a longer period, sometimes there would be another rental in the area that fit the bill. Just depends on the time you want to spend and how long you are staying.
