@dadoen & @newtp are both at the top 20 of the leaderboard after less than a week of being on this app. how? they’ve both: 1. posted consistently on one channel -> for dadoen it’s /firefits, for newt it’s /science, where they’re both gotten noticed for their regular VALUABLE posting!! 2. replied to their audience -> not only under their own posts, but on the content their own audience posts as well!! i’d love to see them: 1. share more on their take on farcaster so far, as people who have both been content creators for years (dadoen on instagram, newt on various platforms) and are finally getting noticed for their hard, consistent efforts. what do they find different about this place? what do they see the potential of this being? i’ll leave them (or anyone in the replies) to answer, but for now, all we can do is admire what happens when good people get what they’ve long deserved 🤜🤛

+1. Also think AI integrations like X's "Explain this post" button should be a first-class part of Farcaster, or at least available as a plugin, like a composer action. Feels like something that’ll get adopted by a lot more social apps soon.

NOICE - project update ✤ In previous weeks, I wrote about @noiceapp (by @tike, @srijan.eth and others) and explained why it is one of the best projects in the Farcaster ecosystem. Half a month has passed, and I want to talk about the updates that have been made to noice and other interesting information Updates — Yesterday, noice added the ability to send tips using tokens on Arbitrum. This is a great update that shows that noice is evolving in search of a new permanent audience and is adapting the top 3 L2 network, which has many users, into its mini-app. It also shows that the team is on the right track towards one of the roadmap goals — adapting Solana into its app. — The team has also released a new feature for the Farcaster community. Now anyone can distribute airdrops using noice by simply entering the conditions, terms and auxiliary conditions. This is similar to Bankr's technology, where users can send airdrops under certain conditions using Bankr. In terms of the importance of this feature, it is definitely needed, especially for the future expansion of Farcaster and Twitter. On-chain activity ✤ In this section, I want to talk about interesting wallets that buy/hold $noice • 0xf2043109af60d2e1e9a0321fd8d6ec1f28baa727 — Clanker, BNKR, MAMO, REI Whale — Often buys tokens on their local ATL, currently in profit on all tokens, including noice (he bought $4.1 million FDV). — Has +$1 million PNL over time • 0xf5e792fa36d47d69ff92f90ecfe3ddede16c04f6 — REI, KTA, noice whale — He earned $500,000 on KTA, and currently has unrealised profits of $100,000 on REI. During the last major crash, he started buying $noice and accumulated $250,000+ — Total PNL is $700,000+ • 0x1eaf444ebdf6495c57ad52a04c61521bbf564ace — BNKR, NATIVE, DBR, FARTCOIN Whale — Early BNKR holder, PNL is over $1.2 million on BNKR alone. We say we want a better internet through farcaster but we’re defaulting into the same attention traps as every other platform. Engagement as dopamine. Content as bait. People optimizing for reach, not value. The scariest part isn’t that Farcaster might fail. It’s that it will succeed just not in the way we hoped. A thriving network, filled with content, drained of meaning.

Every user on farcaster can have a very different experience & value prop based on which miniapps they use and channels they participate in. Prev miniapps on Facebook were mainly minigames to grow user seconds on the platform but miniapps on Farcaster can also be like (aws) microservices incl. tipping, voting, marketing tools and be leveraged by completely different clusters of target audiences for whatever objective they have on farcaster &or outside farcaster. So far we’re seeing the marketing stack being built out for crypto projects, communities. What should be added in that vertical? What else could be valuable soon?
