this is becoming an app where you can transparently pay for followers & pay those followers to shill your shitty posts SO honestly wtf are we actually doing here & wut is the point of social media if the narrative is all pre-bought and paid for by grifters to be consumed by simps🤦♂️

Good question, I think the new folks to the app like me are trying to figure that out, but from my early observations, farcasters core function as a social communication tool is no different from X, or IG. But the features though have perhaps incentives extra grifting and larping here now. When you add money in the form of tokens, it changes folks intentions - on a side note, hope you've been well. I went MIA for a while, but back and in a better place now

I was saying this. Problem is that if you can easily parse the social graph anyway using platforms like @neynar, miniapps like @ampsfun will pop up organically so it becomes all about human ethics, what do humans do if they have superpowers? lol I feel better in my cage on X sometimes.
