"for the first time in a decade, automated traffic surpassed human activity, accounting for 51% of all web traffic in 2024. 37% of that traffic was made up of bad bots."

bad bot = automated w/ malicious intent

fwiw don’t think it matters. Most paper mail is junk mail, most email is spam and most internet traffic will be bad bots. They’ll get filtered
