1/3 one positive life change I’ve made recently - fully separate phone for workout (and bedtime) - only apps it has are Whoop, Spotify, Eight Sleep and PagerDuty; even Safari is disabled - there’s no real bedtime use other than the few nights where Eight Sleep autopilot gets the temperature wrong big improvement to overall workout routine

2/3 I don’t carry it when out and about when leaving the house but if traveling overnight, I carry it in my backpack Has a google fi data only sim that can be added to existing plan with no added costs

3/3 the improvement is noticeable even though the only social apps I have on my primary phone are Warpcast and Twitter (don't use IG, Snap, TikTok, etc. etc.) biggest change is not responding to messages on Telegram or Slack in the middle of a workout leaves open the opportunity to get paged if something goes really wrong, which is by design

I've been thinking about separating my virtual world and phone from my real-life routine for a while, but I haven’t managed to do it yet. My real life depends so much on the income and connections tied to my phone and laptop that it’s been tough. Reading about your experience, though, I’m honestly super motivated to start making this change in my personal and workout routine! Thanks!
