thank u for getting to it so quickly! i couldn't move my actual homepage until u had redirects (⌒_⌒;) hopefully no weird stuff comes up. i think i'll just need to change /* to 404 in my redirects file for my 404 page

Definitely let us know if it doesn't work the way you expect. I'm not sure we followed "conventional" patterns because A) conventions are meant to be broken and B) sometimes we don't know what we're doing until we've done it!
