I was worrying that some of my…lesser excitement was around shinichiro watanabe being the one doing this and me expecting cowboy bebop or Carole and Tuesday which I consider both amazing

But I think it’s just not hitting the mark the way I wanted despite it being a good story with good plot twists

Thanks. They clearly did above average, but they'd need more to impress me and get above the 8 mark.

I like this rating. Upper middle. I might give it a 7 personally. I remember watching the first episode thinking “this is going to be amazing” and it’s mostly just “good” or “pretty good”
