Any other solo founders here? What are some challenges you had to face relative to multiple founder cos?

I am no longer a founder, but in 2017 I solo founded Graphite Docs. Trying to raise money was brutal. I think things have changed a bit but even just 6 years ago, investors were wary of backing solo founders.

Going thru same thing. Recruiting is harder and accelerator applications aren’t even considered for me as solo.

I faced a little bit of this when raising many years ago but at the end of the day your track record will speak for itself. Keep winning and let the doubters doubt!

Thanks. I take any hesitance to join or fund solo funders as market feedback. Just motivates me to focus on better recruiting tactics and build a business that customers want.

Sorry you’re dealing with that. I made it to the final round of interviews for multiple accelerators before being passed up for a team with co-founders.
