🏗️ Hackathons are the way to go, and here's why we should all do it: About 5 months ago, I participated in my very first hackathon as a non-technical with the intent of deepening knowledge of the web3/onchain ecosystem. Our goal was to build a decentralized application for public goods funding in 24 hours. Hyper-accelerated building with a community that values intellectual openness is the BEST springboard to 100x your web3/onchain knowledge 📈

It pushes our capabilities beyond expectations. This allowed me to creatively think about synthesizing my technical writing skills to integrate privacy solutions in our app. Doc here: https://github.com/Aheesh/care-pledge/blob/main/EYChallenge.md Shout out to @0xspraggins 🔥 couldn't have done it w/o his giga brain

After that hackathon, I jumped straight into @ethglobal online async hackathon while I am still running on the hackathon high. We continued efforts in building a public goods funding app. Async hackathons breed a different type of challenge and that was eye opening.

Building asynchronously across different time zones while everyone is multitasking with daily life is a challenge. BUT. Don't let anyone stop you from the amazing learning experience. We were still able to ship our product! https://ethglobal.com/showcase/care-pass-it0cp
