There are two major standard types of NFTs ERC721 and ERC1155.
ERC721 NFTs are like your typical PFP projects, each one is different from another. On the other hand there can exist multiple similar ERC1155 NFTs for a token with the same token number for each person. Here's how you can differentiate them on OpenSea:
The contract type and the fact that multiple people own that single NFT is written there as tags.

yeah, exactly. now everyone got the same nft with the same token number with the same art and same everything, if you sell one and replace it with another there is literally no difference between them.

So if it was an ERC721 there might be people bidding over who is #1, first 100, etc, right?
