I know that Trump is good for everyone’s crypto bags and he has promised a handful of tech VCs power if he wins, which ostensibly is good for all of us But oof. To empower the too-online right to get there feels like a deal with the devil

If the technology was originally designed to cut out corrupt demagogues yet it stands to benefit from them, then the technology (or the culture surrounding it) has failed and needs to be revamped.
