Fitness sit and talk (part 2) Watch this video if you want to understand more about heavy lifting. It’s not just about how heavy the weights are, it’s more about the resistance in pushing/pulling the weights. For example, the smith machine whether for squats or bench press, you feel more pressure on the smith that free weights. Resistance bands are also perfect (it’s in the name). So if you intend to look for ways to max out your lifting and build muscles without going as heavy, just make the weights harder to push/pull.

My gym coach told me that more weights build endurance, to build muscle and power, maintain the same weight and go against more resistance, well I guess it’s true from this video👍
