J-pop and anime openings– Groups like YOASOBI and LiSA have become global stars thanks to their soundtracks (“Demon Slayer” , “Sword Art Online”, “BEASTARS”). - Hip-hop and R&B– Artists like Kanye West (“Stronger” with references to “Akira”), Travis Scott, and Doja Cat use anime imagery in their music videos. - Virtual performers - VTuber culture (for example, Hololive) and projects like Hatsune Miku have grown out of anime aesthetics. On the topic of music, we now have western artists performing OPs and EDs for anime We had Yungblxd perform Abyss and OneRepublic perform nobody for Kaiju no. 8 season 1. This season we have Ellie Goulding performing ED for Cleavetess. Aurora and OneRepublic performing OP and ED respectively for Kaiju No. 8 season 2
