𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀. it’s the same idea: when you’ve been stuck in the same room for years, the best way to understand yourself and your motives is to step out and see yourself from a different angle, in different conditions. As long as humanity is boxed in on one planet Earth - our thinking stays narrow. So when people say, "Why go to Mars or Europa if we can’t even solve Earth’s basic problems?" - I strongly disagree. The moment we break out to another world and planet, it could flip a switch for all of humanity on an entirely new level. The core bottleneck is space radiation. To travel to other planets we likely need: ▪️genetic upgrades to reduce radiation susceptibility ▪️a massive shielded "sleep capsule" for long voyages ▪️dramatically faster ships https://x.com/TheProjectUnity/status/2009543887098912979
