I feel sad guys, Lil Grey is showing signs of his urinary infection again 😿 He finished his antibiotics a week ago so I guess they didn’t work 🥺 This time I gave him an anti-inflammatory and some gabapentin drops for the pain and within 30 minutes he stopped going to his litter box and finally settled down 🙏🏻🙏🏻

In a few days I’ll need to do another urine culture and once I get the results I’ll take him to the kidney specialist. The vet had already warned me that the bacteria he has is tough to get rid of 😿

Happy Sunday guys! Lil Grey is feeling so much better today 🙏🏻🙏🏻he’s eating well and using the litter box properly. I was worried last night because whenever he starts showing symptoms of his infection, I have to act quickly and check if he’s still peeing before giving him any medication. If I delay he could develop a blockage and that would be a serious issue that would require an emergency vet visit 🥺

After finishing his antibiotic treatment a week ago he shouldn’t be showing symptoms again but it seems the bacteria is still there 😿 In the meantime, I’m continuing his medication until the specialist can see him again. At least now I know which meds are safe for him thanks to the last vet consultation.
