There’s such a wild culture clash as crypto goes mainstream. OGs tend to prize anonymity, merit, open-source, decentralization, anti-TradFi and e/acc. Many of those values are the opposite of what’s working in markets: doxxed, credentialed, closed-source, centralized, pro-TradFi, decel, etc. It’s X culture vs. LinkedIn culture. 

Incredible to watch, but also sad. It's like smiling as you help your child move into a dorm and then balling your eyes out in the parking lot.

Honestly if we get through this with the most important values of crypto intact I will consider it a huge win.
