Best possible outcome for surviving the singularity: 1. Govts print like mad, spurring radical investment in tip-of-the-spear tech (AI, robotics, crypto, healthcare, renewables, etc.) 2. Inflation nukes govt debt 3. Robotics drive down cost of necessities 4. As costs fall, we work less (5 days a week → 4 → 3 → 2 → eventually 0) 5. Militaries synchronously unlock superintelligence and stalemate in “mutually assured destruction” scenario 6. Governments morph from human-led to machine-led as AIs negotiate on our behalf 7. Unlock radical life extension (if not full-blown immortality) 9. Climb above Maslow's hierarchy as humanity escapes bondage of work and discovers our true destiny 10. Bravest among us board rocket ships and blast off for the great unknown

Utopian UBI working 0 days scenarios don't jive with my pessimistic brain. Clearly technology has lifted the standards of living for those close to it, but the distribution of resources tends to consolidate in the hands of the few. Not sure how to frame it.
