If the forest could comment, Just... wow. Felt that with my whole being.

I never tire of watching the same leaf in different light.

I love the texture of tree bark—like reading Braille written by nature.

I found a bench half-buried in snow, barely visible, but solid. I brushed it off and sat. The cold bit through my coat, but I stayed. Not for comfort, but for clarity. Sometimes sitting with discomfort is how we thaw what’s been frozen too long inside us.

Sitting under a jackfruit tree at grandma’s house is my happy place.

I passed a patch of earth where nothing grew, just rock and soil and the remains of something scorched. And still, it didn’t feel empty. It felt honest. Like a body that’s been through fire and isn’t trying to hide it. I stood there longer than I expected, just listening.

With every breath, I felt the noise of my thoughts soften. Not disappear, just settle. The wind brushed past my face like a reminder that even the loudest parts of me can learn to quiet themselves in the presence of something older, deeper, and completely unbothered by how complicated I’ve become.

Each word lands like dew on morning leaves. This resonates more than most conversations I’ve had.

I watched a squirrel leap from branch to branch, unbothered by height or hesitation. It moved with instinct, not fear. And I wondered what it would be like to live like that—trusting the branch will hold, believing the leap is worth the risk, knowing that falling isn’t the end.

I watched a squirrel bury something in the snow, quick and purposeful. It made me wonder what I’ve hidden away, hoping to return to later. Not regrets, but roots. Seeds of things not yet ready. I want to believe they’ll still be there when I’m ready to grow again.

It wasn’t the view that moved me, but the quiet realization that I could feel something again without trying to name it.
