I shipped a feature, presented to a room full of staff, and got invited to speak at a regional conference — all during one of the hardest weeks of the year for me personally. This week marked the anniversary of losing my Dad. I prayed every morning before walking in the door — not because I felt ready, but because I knew I’d need capacity beyond my own. Here’s what the week looked like anyway: → Was a guest on United Church of Christ Youth Lead series → Completed a full week of Boys & Girls Club staff training → Shipped a JotForm integration to TallyMarq mid-week → Presented TallyMarq live to all four Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland sites → Staff cheered when I demoed the feature I’d just built → Got mentioned as a potential speaker for the regional BGC conference in Detroit this August TallyMarq went from idea to live product in April. 785 incidents logged. Four active sites. Real staff, real programs, real kids. To other founders building through hard seasons — grief doesn’t pause for your roadmap. But sometimes forward motion is its own form of honoring the people who believed in you first. Still building. 🏗️
