The answer cannot be creator commodification, which is what the current implementation feels like. No one asked for this.The problem that it's trying to solve is, essentially, the ad industry. There is a dollar amount tied to the number of eyeballs your online content gets. There is a dollar value to your data about who your friends are, the places you visit, what you search for, and what you post about. But the only people who see those dollars are the platforms. That's because the data is siloed within those platforms, and companies are willing to pay for that data. There's a market for data that cuts the person whose data is being used out entirely. That's broken, 100 percent. But instead of solving that problem, the solution is to create an alternative market for creator-based shitcoins. It's not well thought out, and the messaging is culturally tone-deaf.
