The new minimax keeps tripping me up (in a good way).. Now I have to strip out a bunch of agent controls to accommodate what the model does natively. Feels weird tbh. They actually paid attention to the model's strong use cases, and doubled down on it... It's logical, methodical, workflow-aware and checks its own (and other models') reasoning before acting. It recognizes barriers and reports problems. It's role-aware and... smart? It's nice to use my harnesses to leverage my code filler's intelligence, rather than control its stupidity. Didn't really expect minimax to be the first ones to file off all the burrs, but they really nailed this one.
