I always lol at the seething cope that centrists and conservatives bring to the "loneliness" debate, and the sheer magnitude of time and money they spend convincing others that it's a universal problem. Antisocial attitudes breed lonliness. Progressive people experience loneliness too. But at the intersection of disability, physical isolation and other *real, material issues*, which is not the same as the unrelated "lonliness epidemic" in the media and discourse sphere. It's not hard to see how many millions are being spent to push the narrative that lefties, libs and women are "lonely" too, meanwhile it's common knowledge that people just don't want to be around others with antisocial attitudes and divisive politics.
