my current political hot take is that Obama was actually a bad president. he is the standard bearer for the modern Democratic Party failures: a party that promises hope and change but is so beholden to corporate interest and institutions that it can’t actually achieve it’s stated goals

this is what concerns me, specifically for ethereum. bitcoin is a known quantity, easy to surveil and threatening no one. eth threatens lots of existing powerful players! how long until one of them lobbies the WH?
