On Christmas, I've setup a new phone for my dad. I've set the phone PIN, the same as he said the old one was, on the old phone (and typed it in at least 10 times during the installation and copy paste files process). He has now called me to ask for it, and after I (cleared we were indeed talking about the phone PIN, not the SIM card PIN and) told him the PIN, he said "it is DEFINITELY not that one, bcs I had another PIN". He went on to repeat it 3 more times, during 2 more phone calls. After I asked him to try it on the actual (new) phone, he repeated the sentence (again). It was the PIN I told him. He just didn't try it on the new phone. That's... all.
