When it comes to food and socializing, the Balkans and the mediterranean is where it's at. I am not sure if it's bcs of poverty back in the day or just because comfort food is... Comfort food.
My kids said (at 9PM) that they are hungry for "broken underwear" or "langoši", which is fried dough made in Croatia and Hungary, usually served with a sour cream/garlic/shredded cheese spread.
So I started making it, but remembered my friend who brought me here to Luxembourg, who was feeling down the last few days.
So I brought her some, at 10:45PM. Just because.
