Re Clanker (1/2) Finding out about @proxystudio.eth was truly shocking to me. This is really a major blow... Yes, a bit on the financial side (and I am quite exposed to clankers), but more on the side of trust and integrity. Proxy and I mutually followed each other long before @dish and him made Clanker, and I had tons of productive and fun convos with him, public and in DCs. I would really like this hear his side of it, as I cannot escape making prelim conclusions when hearing a lot of the stories. Needless to say, I don't approve "theft" (in quotation marks bcs I don't know the full story). I do believe people can change, but I doubt I could fully trust someone that did this previously. And trust is really crucial here. The thing is - after getting burned a few times with honeypots, rugs and whatnot, clankers were my safe zone on Base. They could not get turned to a honeypot. They could not go to zero. I could always vouch that as a product, a clanker was sound. This is the part that hurts the most.

2/2 Also, just wanted to say that @dish rocks. Handled this swiftly and with no excuses. I fully support Jack, @btayengco and the rest of the team. I can only imagine what goes through their heads right now. That said, I would just want to know a bit more about the "with our organization" part. Maybe it's just me, but I thought @proxystudio.eth was an integral part of the organization (and basically the face of it, together with Jack). For a long time, only the two of them have been mentioned. What was the deal when you Clanker started, and who handled what while there were just the two of you? On another note, my curiosity makes me want to ask about what Alex had to say about the Velodrome thing. But I do get that's maybe not what you want to talk about.

And another note. the great @toadyhawk.eth made an extremely well written cast, that I wish I had read before I wrote mine. It also goes beyond what I wrote, speaking from the part of people working with Proxy or clanker tech. I suggest everyone reads it, every part of it. You rock Toady. the story was of course a bit shocking, but it seems to me that every person can change for the better, sometimes he is simply ready to erase his previous bad experience from life, but it is not so easy to do.
