Original Timex 1983 E-Line. This Timex was released in 1983 and ended production ~1987. I believe it was one of the last watches with an automatic movement Timex released in that decade. Quartz was all the range (side note: it's a really interesting case study how the watch industry was able to reinvent itself from utility -> luxury). What stands out to me is the TV-style dial, plus I love all things nostalgia/retro. :) After sending out a few lowball offers, I was able to snag one.

Yup, that’s the re-issue! That’s actually how they got on my radar. I like the new ones a lot but I have a nostalgic place in my heart for the OG ones, haha
