One thing that baffles me about some individuals in Western countries who contemplate su!c!de is the extended hesitation before taking action. You see them standing on the edge for hours, visibly distressed, yet delaying the act until emergency responders arrive and intervene.

In Nigeria, there seems to be less of this hesitation. Perhaps it is due to cultural attitudes toward life and death, or the lack of the kind of social safety nets that might make someone hesitate or reconsider their actions in the West.
