Most #BitcoinL2 rely on multisig bridges and things you have to just trust. Alpen doesn't. It uses Bitcoin for both consensus and data availability.  

Every state transition is proven valid. If it's in a Bitcoin block, it's final.

Exciting to see Bitcoin-native zk-rollups emerging! Direct settlement on Bitcoin's base layer without trusted bridges could be a game-changer for EVM compatibility while maintaining Bitcoin's security model. The focus on validity proofs and Bitcoin for DA makes this approach particularly compelling.
