The rare times I’ve been to parties lately (in San Francisco and London), I was surprised by the strict enforcement of this rule: stickers over everyone's phone camera lenses at all times. No exceptions.

So what happens now that everyone’s basically Spy Kids? Will people be asked to remove their glasses? Will countries with strict privacy laws require visible recording indicators on devices like status lights?

These stickers are not that sticky! Easy to feel off. I always saw it as a contractual act to remind party-goes about this policy

Big parties - security guard on premises looking for it

Small parties - stigma of being the person who violates it
