I would say the lesson here is "what they don't know won't hurt them."

The signs that drive me nuts in nyc are the ones that say “no dog poop or peeing allowed!”  Like I’m actually going to control when my pup can and cannot pee/poop. 

I’m obviously going to clean up after the pup, but to demand I have any control of when she goes on public grass is infuriating. Makes me want to not even clean it up tbh
