If you go to or are in a place and you see even just one bedbug, don't go back to your house and go in just like that. If you have a neighbour or roommate, have them bring you another set of clothes and change before you go inside. You can do that in the backyard or somewhere that's NOT INSIDE. This is because bedbugs are hitchhikers. Just one can cling to your clothes or belongings and infest your entire home. Once that happens, it's expensive and stressful to get rid of them. So, be cautious. Shake off your shoes, bag, and anything else you carried, and if possible, leave them outside for proper inspection or treatment before bringing them in. Prevention is far easier and cheaper than extermination.
