When I was in the Norwegian Army in 2022, some Russian intelligence operatives tried to buy our military IDs outside a bar near the base. They offered us around 20,000 NOK, or roughly 2,000 euros. There was also an issue with us being photographed while handling logistics involving weapons that were being transported to Ukraine. It’s striking to think about how aggressive they were with their intelligence operations, even while they were busy with the invasion of Ukraine.
