I’m with you on the outsourcing with context:

He *would* outsource if it was the way to get the best experience to his users (so he would given this situation 2025).

He *would not* have let apple miss the biggest technology wave in the past 10 years.

Sure but that’s the power of founder led. See Zuck. 

But to claim he never outsourced (what the OP said) and that they won’t be fine with that as a temporary strategy is wrong.
