are you using agent mode vs chat mode? That'll do it. Agent mode makes the changes, Chatmode tells you what needs to be done.

Maybe my prompt was more “discover-ish” and it talked instead of doing lol

I need to start working in branches on small features. Sometimes it really goes buckwild with the verbosity. I'd rather have concise short readable code wherever i can but theres just so much going on at this point.
