Neocons were still strong in 2016 theyd be frothing with excitement over it
The liberals would be super pumped about it
I think in terms of people tea party was still Hella populist back then and would denounce it on grounds all regime change is bad and has never worked
And left wing populists would say that maduro should be returned and denouncing american imperialism
