my phone is reaching the state of unusable - battery won’t charge past 40% - phone occasionally goes down to 1% then back up - phone restarts randomly - phone keeps getting crazy hot - battery isn’t even sure if it’s genuine anymore anyone had issues like this before? it’s a 15 pro — i’m guessing this ain’t a software issue

damn. looks like your battery is so toast it’s overheating and causing a kernel panic to prevent it from melting. definitely should be a free replacement from Apple. pester them about this

fingers crossed. try calling them on the phone first and asking if you can get this escalated because you’re worried your phone is going to combust in your pocket and burn your leg
