So the other day i read a cast from @javabu.eth regarding medical expenses in USA.. So here is something that is happening in india, called Medical Tourism. Medical tourism in India has grown steadily over the years, mostly because it offers a practical alternative for people seeking affordable, timely, and quality healthcare. Patients from countries like the US, UK, Middle East, and even Africa often come here for treatments that are either too expensive or delayed back home. India’s private hospitals offer a wide range of procedures cardiac care, orthopedics, fertility treatments, transplants, and more. Many of the doctors are internationally trained and well spoken staff is a plus. Cost is a major factortreatments here can be up to 60–80% cheaper. But its also about access. Patients often face long wait times in their home countries, whereas here, things move faster. Of course, it’s not without its complications like postop care back home and things like that.

The cost an average american pays for different surgeries is stupidity. Its feels like a blessimg to be born here cozy mum underwent a bypass surgery for under 4800$ whereas if she was US an citizen the same Procedure would have costed here more or less 100k$!!! ABSURD
