There's a use case. And we can provide some benefit/strap onto an Empire I believe, but imo Creators/Artists/Builder will want to consider and include other types of scarcity in their strategies.

There is absolutely a use case for 1/1, limited time open editions, generative mints, various royalty splits on smart contracts, & other things that NFTs allow, that are important & valid.

Anyone, especially a Platform Owner who bangs a drum too loudly that there way is the best way, has to be careful not to smell too much of overhype & self interest that isn't considering the needs of the userbase first. 

(If they claim to be about serving the userbase of creators/builders/founders ofc)

If the UX isn’t like medium claps I don’t find any value (idk if medium claps exist anymore)

I don't think the volume at the base will improve, when you have the chance, you end up destroying it with snipe bots
