I feel like jealousy is just self loathing in disguise

i think it’s more to do with insecurities than self loathing, but it can definitely both in some cases too.

i’ve thought a lot about this in the last 4 years of being an artist and watching others be artists. 

we tend to be a highly insecure bunch and that manifests into different feelings, one of them being jealousy. 

(sorry to the artists reading this generalization that aren’t insecure about anything. go you!)
