today is one of those days where you wake up and feel like the entire world is against you. i simply feel defeated. if this happens to you, how do you trick yourself to keep your chin up on such days and get any work done?

i had to go back to the replies in this cast today bc i woke up feeling defeated. it’s the absolute worst and simply getting out of bed becomes a big self ask. (it’s past 11am and i’m usually out of bed by 8am)

I know I’m late but sometimes that good cry is just what is needed. I had something happened at work a few weeks back and it really hit me hard emotionally and I didn’t understand why I was having such and emotional reaction but I just let it be… gave space to my emotions and the next day was much better.

thanks kira! i managed to get out of bed 4 hours later and make me some food and that helped me get out of the crappy mood today. trying my best not to fall back for the rest of the day.
