Bitcoin DeFi platform Alex Protocol got hacked on June 6. Lost around $8.3M, including STX, sBTC, USDC, and WBTC. Team blamed a self-listing verification flaw. Will fully repay users in USDC via a structured claim process. Got hit in May 2024 too, losing $4.3M from a bridge exploit.
