Google has been at the centre of a major antitrust controversy. The US DOJ is pushing it to sell its Chrome browser, citing a search monopoly. Apple has settled a $95M lawsuit that claimed Siri, its personal assistant AI, eavesdropped on users. Siri is alleged to have spied on users between 2014 and 2024 and collected data that was later sold to third parties.
